As we continue to move forward in unprecedented times, ChampionPEO has been working nonstop to service our clients with
little to no interruptions and will continue to do as our country works towards a new normal. It is important, however, that we, the public continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the city, local, state & national government agencies as restrictions are slowly being lifted and businesses are given the go-ahead to reopen under certain
restrictions.
ChampionPEO will institute the following:
- Office Visits: By appointment only.
- Client Visits: On hold until the end of May.
- Training Sessions: Conducted through video conferencing until further notice.
- Covid-19 Pay: If an employee is being paid due to Covid-19, ChampionPEO will process under the pay code CO19 in order to keep accurate records.
ChampionPEO recommends the following in conjunction with issued guidelines:
- Establish a team to plan and oversee your companies back-to-work outline.
- Define & Develop communications to staff, managers & and executives.
- Develop & assign specific checklists allowing employees to return to work safely.
- Work as a TEAM and update our plans, policies, and procedures regularly.
- All individuals (employees of ChampionPEO, as well as, in-office visitors) will be required to wear Personal Protection
- Equipment (face masks & gloves).
- All employees and visitors will have their temperature taken prior to entering the office. Should an individual’s temperature exceed 100.4 degrees, employees of ChampionPEO will be asked to self-isolate for 14 days.
- Those visiting the office will be asked to reschedule appointments after 14 days.
- Businesses should clean and sanitize locations frequently.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes should be placed around for use by employees, as well as, customers.
- Floors should be laid out with markers 6’ apart to continue Social Distancing.
- Any individual who believes they may have come in contact with an infected person should immediately notify their supervisor.
- All Personal Protection Equipment offered to employees is the responsibility of the worksite employer.
- Employers requiring employees to punch in should create a schedule (5 minutes apart from arrival time), so employees are not gathering near the computer or time punch system. Or, make sure there are markers for employees to wait near until the previous individual has clocked in and moved forward.
- Breakrooms: Tables should be spaced 6 feet apart, and the number of employees allowed at one time should be
- reduced by half.
- Bathrooms: Disinfectant sprays should be used after each visit, as well as, all employees wash their hands (minimum 20 seconds) before returning to their workstations.
- Waiting Rooms: Seating spaced 6’ apart and sanitized frequently.
As we continue, ChampionPEO understands the importance of keeping our staff’s health, safety, and wellbeing a
priority, however, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our clients are just as important. We will continue to strive to make
the upcoming days and months as stress-free as possible. Nonetheless, we all need to understand that the old normal
may no longer be a way as we prepare for a new normal within our country.
As always, ChampionPEO looks forward to continuing to serve our clients.
