Pandemics and PEOs

When you and your business’s back is up against the wall, having a co-employer could be life-saving.

Currently, throughout our nation and across the globe, local, State and Federal mandates are being enacted which is causing the temporary closing of non-essential businesses to the public to slow the spread of COVID-19 also known as CoronaVirus.

First the Lay-offs then the Closures.

We are witnessing what a Global Pandemic can do to our Country and Economy in a short period of time. In only a matter of weeks, we are seeing massive employee layoffs and small to medium-sized businesses close their doors for the foreseeable future.

So, what’s next?

How will small businesses of America recover in the fallout of COVID-19?

First We Stimulate, then We Reopen

As of yesterday, the House passed an additional $484 billion in Coronavirus assistance funds to be dedicated to hospitals, small businesses and expanded testing. To coincide, States around the Nation are beginning to reopen gently with certain restrictions in place.

As the trend continues and more Governors follow suite, more small businesses will reopen and the unemployment numbers will begin to drop. American patriotism will beat harder than ever before. With the 4th of July just around the corner, we can look to see major increases in buying confidence now that the Nation is easing back into businesses as usual. Stock markets will soar, gas will increase to a fair dollar per barrel, farmers will prosper once again and our dollar will be stronger than ever.

A Moment of Clarity in a Time of Remembrance

When the dust settles and the corona memes begin to fade out, the backbone of America will have a time to breath and allow for reflection on what just happened.

Employers have now seen what it is like to feel alone smack-dab in the middle of a standstill economy brought to it’s knees by an invisible enemy. Now more than ever is the relationship between a Professional Employer Organization and a small business seen as not just important to have but a necessity in this day-in-age.

From sharing liability to having the peace of mind knowing your employer administrative tasks are being fulfilled professionally, accurately and efficiently regardless of the current state of our economy or government mandates.
